Bed Time Routine

Lorelai has a 17 step bed time routine. Every night she must look at pictures of her favorite cousin, kiss everyone good night, hold onto her pink suppy cup while we read a bed time story and so on. She has decided that step 8, brushing her teeth, is something she can now do all by herself.

She gets quite testy when mom tries to help her.

Everyday this little one amazes me even more but I do hope she slows down and stays my baby a little while longer.

Today when Lowell was picked up from preschool a little girl in his class told him that she made Lowell a valentine with lots of hearts. Lowell's dad asked him what her name was. His response was "Dad, there are lots of girls in my class. I can't know all of their names!"

Miss Pouty Pants

I told Lorelai she couldn't run into the street. So she sat on the rocks and pouted for a bit. She forgave me after a few minutes.
